TPWD to offer hunting education
The Texas Parks and Wildlife Department will be in cooperation with the Waller County Office Texas Cooperative Extension and will be offering the Mandatory Hunter Education Course from Sept. 9-11 from 7-10 p.m. The course will be taught in the Extension Office located at 846 Sixth St. Parents must be present with minors on the first night to provide enrollment information and to be certified, one must attend all three nights. Participants must be at least 9 years old. The cost is $15. To reserve a spot or for more information, call 979-826-7651.
