Local Walmart hit by shoplifter

A teenager was arrested by Missouri City police for taking more than $50 in goods from the local Walmart.
Police were called to the store at 6:40 p.m. Aug. 4 in response to a reported shoplifting incident.
Store loss prevention officers told police they say a male juvenile suspect putting items in a Walmart bag and leaving the store without checking out at the register.
The male suspect took $70 in store products, including five packs of McCormick’s seasoning, french bread, three 12 packs of soda, and several car products.
The youth was detained by store personnel and arrested for theft, a class B misdemeanor, when police arrived.
