Constable Precinct 4 reports for Aug. 23 through Aug. 28
Delivery driver overcharges local grocer
Precinct Four Deputy A. Schmidt responded to the 13000 block of Louetta Road in reference to a theft on Aug. 23.
On arrival, the store manager stated that the defendant, a delivery driver for an international food product company, had been overcharging Kroger’s for his deliveries for the past 12 weeks.
Documents were examined which confirmed the allegation and the District Attorney’s office accepted charges of felony theft on defendant Etienne Roets, 37.
Man wanted in connection with jewelry thefts
Precinct Four Deputy T. Nave was called to a retail store in the 10900 Block of FM 1960 regarding a theft of silver jewelry on Aug. 28.
This retail chain has stores in several states, and their loss prevention department informed Pct. 4 deputies that one man has entered several stores in various states and has stolen silver jewelry from each.
The suspect drives a white four door Buick Century with Ohio plates EE5-7977, which doesn’t return to a valid owner or address. The case is currently under investigation.
Men repairing car begin argument, fight
On Aug. 28, three men were working on an automobile engine in the 14000 block of Cedar Point. One of the three broke a bolt off in the engine block and an argument started between two of the men.
The argument soon turned into a fight when one man struck another in the face. As the fight escalated, the man armed himself with a hammer and then a knife, and began chasing the other.
Precinct Four deputies were called to the scene, and on arrival, disarmed Eric Dziubar, 30, and arrested him for aggravated assault by use of a deadly weapon.
