Sonnier to speak at Manvel forum

Lauron Sonnier, a noted marketing advisor, speaker, trainer and author, will addressing the monthly meeting of the Manvel Business Forum at noon on Monday, Sept. 15 at the First United Methodist Church located at 18218 Highway 6 in Manvel.

She leads Sonnier Marketing & Communications, Inc., which helps businesses “stand out, stir the pot, and put marketing into action.”

In tune with the issues facing small and emerging businesses, Sonnier teaches business owners how to think, act, and communicate like a marketer—and how to integrate marketing into their day-to-day operation. Sonnier is known for making marketing practical in both how it is understood and how it is implemented. Her unique “Stir the Pot!” method has brought significant success to her clients.

“I love helping people get excited about marketing,” she says. “Magical things happen when people understand marketing and how to integrate it into all aspects of their business.”


Sonnier is the author of “365 Ways to Stir the Pot! and Put Marketing Into Action,” a daily marketing guide. She speaks regularly to companies and organizations throughout the country. She has appeared on Houston PBS with a series of 90-second segments called “Standing Out With Lauron Sonnier” where she provides marketing tips and information and has been featured in numerous local and national publications including “Inc. Magazine.”

“A Cajun from Louisiana, Lauron is one of those expressive speakers who couldn’t talk if you tied her hands,” says Roy Waldrep, board member for the Alvin-Manvel Area Chamber of Commerce.
