Gov. Perry pre-deploys assets in preparation for Tropical Storm Gustav

AUSTIN – Gov. Rick Perry today ordered the pre-deployment of state resources in anticipation of Tropical Storm Gustav’s potential landfall. Today’s action follows the governor’s disaster declaration for 61 counties issued on Thursday and readies the state to provide assistance to local officials.
