Fort Bend County Extension Office to host Diabetes seminar
The Fort Bend County Extension Office will host an upcoming series of classes on Diabetes to educate the public on the disease.
“The Do Well, Be Well with Diabetes” classes will be held on Tuesdays from 6:30 - 8:30 p.m. Oct. 7 - Nov. 4.
Classes will be held at St. John Fisher Church at 410 Clay Street in Richmond.
Classes will cover several topics, including “Nutrition: First Step to Diabetes Management,” “One Diabetes Diet-No Longer the Sole Option,” “Nutrition Labels,” “For Good Measure at Home and Eating Eating Out,” “What is Diabetes? Managing Your Blood Glucose,” “Diabetes and Exercise,” and “Diabetes Medicines,” and “Preventing and Managing Complications.”
