Timberwood tries to understand effect of proposed runway

For Carol Strother it’s about the ifs. With two homes in Humble’s Timberwood subdivision, one left to her after her mother died a few years ago, Strother said she’s disappointed in the direction the neighborhood is going with crime and upkeep of houses, and the foreclosures are disheartening, too. But the reason the 61-year-old is seriously thinking about putting both properties on the market and leaving the area is the uncertainty she sees looming at Bush Intercontinental Airport.
