Police respond to area vehicle break-ins

Two area vehicles were the target of break-ins on Thursday, Aug. 14.

Missouri City police responded to a report of a vehicle break-in at the YMCA located at 4433 Cartwright Road.

According to the police report, the victim parked her car and went in to work out and left her purse in plain view on the passenger floorboard.

The woman returned to find the driver’s side windshield of her vehicle smashed out and her purse, containing three credit cards, missing.


Police are investigating the incident, but have no suspects at this time.

In the second incident, police responded at 12:37 p.m. at a home located at 3303 Shiloh Court where a vehicle was left unlocked in the driveway.

Someone went into the vehicle and removed the stereo equipment, DVD Player, IPod and audio speakers.

Police have no suspects, but are investigating the incident.
