Approximately 10 units responded to an incident involving shots fired at a local Jack in the Box in Missouri City over the weekend.

Two black males, Jefon Bogan, 18, and Taurean Riles, 19, were arrested for deadly contact for firing shots at the scene.

According to details of the police report, two Missouri City officers were in an area near the former Memorial Hermann Fort Bend Hospital around 1: 30 a.m. when they heard shots fired.

Officers arrived at the Jack in the Box located at 6151 Highway 6, the location from which the shots sounded, and saw a silver Nissan backed up between the bushes between the Jiffy Lube and Jack ‘n the Box.

The driver of the vehicle backed up at a high rate of speed in reverse through the bushes and hit a gas pump.

Two people jumped out of the car and ran into the officers who had been watching the scene unfold.

The officers confronted the two men in the parking lot as other witnesses drove up and told police that the two men had fired shots at them.

Several other units were dispatched to the scene during the course of the incident.

Officers arrested the men and transported them to the Fort Bend County Jail without incident, according to Cpt. John Bailey of the Missouri City Police Department.
