District offers online payment option for student meals
By OBSERVER STAFF REPORTS
Child Nutrition will continue to use PayPAMS (Parent Account Management System), an online payment option that allows parents to use the Internet to pay for their child’s lunch and breakfast.
Parents can make payments and view their child’s account balance and payment history online by registering at www.PayPAMS.com or by calling 1-888-994-5100. Registration for PayPAMS accounts for 2008-09 begins Aug.18.
There is no charge for registering and viewing account balances. PayPAMS accepts credit and debit cards. There will be no fee charged for using the credit card services.
It takes one business day for a payment to register in a child’s meal account, but automatic payments can be scheduled based upon meal account balance.
Parents may still use the traditional method of paying for their student’s meals. Money may be deposited into student accounts at the school with cash or check.
