Energy Capital Credit Union hosts “Pint for a Package” Blood Drive in partnership with Gulf Coast Regional Blood Center

From Staff Reports
Updated: 08.11.08
Energy Capital Credit Union has organized a blood drive to benefit the Gulf Coast Regional Blood Center, as well as US troops overseas. For each blood donor, Energy Capital Credit Union will send a care package to a soldier.

Energy Capital Credit Union will host this FREE event on September 10, 2008 from 3pm-7pm at the main office location, at 18540 Northwest Freeway. Light snacks will be served after each person completes their blood donation.

For each pint of blood collected, a care package worth $25 will be sent to a branch in the military in partnership with the USO. Each donor participant will be able to write a personal message of support for a soldier fighting overseas, which will be included in the care package. These packages will contain prepaid international phone cards, snacks, sunscreen, toiletries, compact discs and other items requested by our service men and women.

Join Energy Capital Credit Union and give blood for those who need it most in our community and to support our friends and family who are fighting for our freedom overseas. For more information, or to sign up, contact Alicia Emswiler at 832-604-2135 or aemswiler@eccu.net.
