Friendswood police arrest Alvin man for Burglary
A suspect jailed for traffic violations was charged with Burglary of a Motor Vehicle August 6.
The additional charge was placed on James Ray Geraldon II, 22, of Alvin following the investigation of a vehicle burglary in the 1800 block of Palo Duro in Carmel Village subdivision. The victim contacted police Wednesday morning to report that the lock on her truck had been broken out. A child's car seat, a stroller and cough medicine were stolen.
Officers were aware that the car Geraldon had been driving contained a stroller and car seat. Geraldon also has a criminal history including several charges relating to vehicle burglaries. He admitted to his involvement in the local burglary when speaking with detectives.
The victim identified the stolen items at a vehicle storage lot later in the day.
A warrant is pending for a second suspect who was with Geraldon the previous night. Geraldon was transferred to the Galveston County Jail Thursday on a $1500 bond.
