Three arrested for robbery at 24-Hour Fitness

Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office deputies arrested three men who robbed a 23-year-old woman early Tuesday in the 24-Hour Fitness parking lot at 1800 Lake Woodlands Drive.
A purse and a gym bag was taken from the woman, who told responding authorities she was approached by three black males brandishing guns, according to an MCSO press release.
The suspects fled in a Honda Accord.
Based on vehicle descriptions broadcast to other units, three men were stopped a short time after the 12:15 a.m. incident, near the intersection of Sawdust Road and Interstate 45.
The men were detained and authorities recovered two guns. When questioned, the men admitted to the robbery, and told authorities they threw the purse and gym bag out the window at an unknown location in The Woodlands.
Arrested and charged with aggravated robbery were: Lawrence Anderson, 18, Bradley Alexander, 17, and a 16-year-old juvenile. All three traveled to the area from the Homestead and U.S. 59 areas where they reside.
