LITTLE DRIBBLERS SUMMER LEAGUE SECOND SESSION
Due to overwhelming success of the program The Gym will be offering Part II of the Little Dribblers summer league that will run on Monday evenings from Aug. 4-25.
Division I, for ages 5-8, will run from 6-7:15 p.m. with Division II, for ages 8-10, running directly after from 7:15-8:30 p.m.
Players who are 8 years old with more than two years’ experience are recommended to play in Division II.
The league format features a 30-minute drill session followed by a 45-minute game.
Prices will be $49 for new players and $39 for returning players with their jersey.

LAKE HOUSTON YMCA 11th ANNUAL GOLF TOURNAMENT
Administaff Inc. will be the event sponsor of the Lake Houston Family YMCA’s 11th annual Golfer’s Challenge Monday, Aug. 18, at the Kingwood Country Club’s Island and Lake courses.
This annual event benefits the Lake Houston Family YMCA and East Montgomery County YMCA Partners campaign which provides financial assistance to individuals and families who cannot afford the services offered at the YMCA.
The cost to participate in this year’s tournament is $125 per individual or $500 per team, which includes golf, practice range, golf balls, Izod golf shirt, tees and more.

TCA Houston will host its second round of tryouts Sept. 7 at the Kingwood Athletic Club.
Tryouts for 12U - 13U players will be held from 12-1:30 p.m. Tryouts for 14U - 15U players will be held from 1:30-3 p.m. Tryouts for 16U - 17U players will be from 3-4:30 p.m. The session will conflude with 18U tryouts from 4:30-5:30.

Texas HeatWave invites the community to come out and have a blast while improving soccer skills.

The 2008-2009 Kingwood High School varsity cheerleaders are holding their annual youth cheer clinic from 9 a.m.-2 p.m. Aug. 14-15 at Creekwood Middle School. Girls will learn cheer techniques, jumps, tumbling, stunting and dancing from the award-winning KHS varsity coach and cheerleaders.
All future cheerleaders ages 5-13 are encouraged to attend. Ten girls will win an opportunity to "guest cheer" at a 2008 KHS varsity football game.

The Kingwood Park High School All Sports Booster Club is now taking reservations for advertisements for the school’s very first Varsity All Sports Program. Texas Thunder Volleyball Club is holding a middle school camp for grades 5-8.
The camp is scheduled for the week prior to the beginning of their respective school volleyball tryouts and both will be held at The Gym in Humble.
The middle school camp will be held Monday-Thursday from 1-5 p.m. Aug. 18-21.

PGA APPROVED SUMMER GOLF CAMP
Cooper’s Tour School will conduct junior golf camps for students ages 6-14 during the summer break.
Each session will included 12 hours of instruction by Carl Cooper, PFA member and four-year PGA Tour professional. Daily on-course training is included on the par-3 golf course.
The camps are open to first-time golfers at all levels of experience.
Students ages 7-12 are certified to participate in the STPGA Academy Sports and Outdoors Little Linkster Golf Program upon completion of each weekly camp.
The 2008 Little Linkster membership also includes a $10 Academy gift card, STPGA Junior cap, bag tag, rules of golf, admittance to the 2008 Valero Texas Open and the 2009 Shell Houston Open with the STPGA bag tag.
