Athletic club issues challenge
Kingwood Athletic Club is challenging the community to participate in the 12-week body challenge.
Participants are encouraged to join in the group training session with other men or women who would like to achieve the same goals like lose weight and lower body fat, lose inches and fit in smaller clothes, and have more energy and feel better.
Everyone can join as their own group or meet new friends and support each other. The team of six with the most improvement at the end of 12 weeks will not only feel the best but also win a one-hour massage.
The individual with the greatest results will win a cash prize equivalent to the cost of the challenge.
What participants can expect is nutritional support including a journal, challenging workout routines, weekly check-ins and support, weight loss along with muscle gain, overall improved health and nutritional advice.
The mission for the 12-week body challenge is to prepare for the holidays and get started on New Year’s resolutions.
The challenge starts Sept. 2 and ends a week before the Thanksgiving holiday. The 12-week body challenge offers 12 sessions at $300 for members, $360 for non-members; payment plans are available.
Price includes $60 registration fee and the Calorie King software, an online weight management system.
