Each Tuesday and Thursday, 8-9 a.m. at The Fitness Connection, Aerobic Studio, 3900 Spencer Highway. The instructor is Gabe Moreno. There is no charge for registered h2u members, who have completed a medical information form. The purpose is to gain better strength and flexibility with exercises age-appropriate for seniors.
On Monday and Tuesday, Aug. 11 and 12, from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., at Bayshore Medical Center’s lower level classroom, 4000 Spencer Highway, the AARP class will be held. The cost is $10 (checks made to AARP). Reservations are required. Call 713-359-2527. Instructor will be D.L. Poe, AARP representative. When completed, a certificate will be issued to present to your insurance agent for a discount on auto insurance for a period of three years. Note: This class does not qualify for ticket dismissal.
H2u members have an abundant choice of foods when they meet for breakfast at Golden Corral on Spencer Highway on Friday, Aug. 15, at 8:30 a.m. The h2u members pay only $4.75 for the entire buffet; the hospital picks up the balance.
If a member brings a guest, the member pays only $2.75 – the guest gets $2 off the full price. If the guest becomes a member, their next breakfast is free! Everyone wins! Reservations are required. If you have questions, call 713-359-1213.
