Telling time sows seeds of change for inventor

The Houston area is indeed a patchwork quilt of diversity but, for one day a year, we’re all the same — we’re Irish. On March 17, Houstonians will celebrate Saint Patrick, the patron saint of Ireland. In addition to introducing Christianity to Ireland, Saint Patrick is said to have driven all the venomous snakes on the isle into the sea. It’s true — today there are none to be found.
